Certified Homemaker-home Health Aide (CHHA)

We are looking for a caring and compassionate CHHA’s to provide assistance to patients in their homes. The CHHA will offer companionship and housekeeping services, as well as personal care and medical services to patients who are elderly or disabled. The ideal candidate will help patients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life by providing physical, emotional, and moral support.
Certified Homemaker-home Health Aide (CHHA) Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide general companionship and conversation, as well as daily living activities , such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
  • Monitor patient’s vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
  • Assist with ambulation and mobility, including assisting with getting in and out of bed, chairs, and wheelchairs
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning
  • Assist with running errands, such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions
  • Assist with medication reminders and other care related tasks

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in home care, health care, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Able to work flexible hours and weekends
  • First Aid and CPR Certifications
  • Must pass a background check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Companion

We are looking for an empathetic and reliable Companion to provide support and companionship to a senior in their day-to-day life. In this role, you will help them with personal hygiene tasks, perform light housekeeping, prepare meals, and remind them to take their prescribed medications. However, your main goal is to keep them company engaging them in conversation and safely transporting to and from social activities. This is essential to the mental and emotional well-being of the person in your charge, and can offer a reprieve to their family members or primary caregivers. This job can be challenging, so applicants who have experience caring for the elderly or people with developmental disabilities are preferred.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Experience with elderly care preferred
  • Housekeeping or cooking skills a plus
  • CPR and first aid certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Physical stamina necessary to assist the person in your care

Live In Caregiver

We are seeking an experienced Live-In Caregiver to join our team of care professionals in providing clients with the absolute best in in-home assistance. As part of our team, you help clients with basic needs like dressing, bathing, shopping, home healthcare, and transportation. No less important is your ability to provide companionship and positive interactions with clients. You should have prior experience in caregiving or home care, a professional appearance, and a valid driver’s license.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with basic needs such as meal prep, dressing, grooming, bathing, laundry services, and housekeeping
  • Provide clients with companionship and friendly, positive interactions
  • Transport clients to appointments, including doctor’s appointments or salon appointments
  • Help clients with administrative tasks, such as paying bills, writing letters, and making phone calls

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excellent listener and an empathetic companion
  • Prior experience as a caregiver and elderly care
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
